As discussed on the Pulsar call today, the Tools team are using the integrated Eclipse debugger based on the Google Chrome Developer Tools (based on the open source project, WebKit)

Within the past few weeks, Google has detailed recent improvements to its Google Chrome developer tools, which include the addition of a heap profiler for _javascript_, and an improved Web inspector, which provides a timeline tab offering overviews of where time is spent when loading a web application.
