Re: [mdt-papyrus.dev] [Oomph Neon] Issue when installing Neon IDE from Oomph Installer

Hi, Céline,

The Papyrus Oomph setup model doesn’t reference any Mylyn-specific repositories.  It gets the Mylyn tools from the simultaneous release (composite) repository.  Perhaps you saw a problem with the Neon simrel repository’s reference to Mylyn, but I had no trouble updating my Neon instance with the Oomph setup just now.

Cheers,

Christian

Hello everyone,

I encounter some difficulties to create an Eclipse Neon IDE with Oomph.

During the setup task of the p2, Oomph is trying to reach the repo www.eclipse.org/mylyn/release/neon  but is doesn't exist yet.

When I use the Oomph Installer directly, I just have an error "Error during installation" without any details !

Does someone know how can I either uncheck the mylyn repo, or configure mylyn repo as the latest repo. (www.eclipse.org/mylyn/release/lastest) during the setup task ?
Or why It is not possible to create a Neon IDE from Oomph Installer ?

Best Regards
Céline
