Re: [mdt-papyrus.dev] Neon Feature Development: Editor Welcome Page
|
Hey Chris, That’s look very great. I have followed your proposition to fill the initial bug. My main add is switching from the “welcome page / plugins” concept to “dashboard/widgets” concept. I am open to help you on small tasks. Damus Envoyé : mardi 17 novembre 2015 18:32 À : Papyrus Project list <mdt-papyrus.dev@xxxxxxxxxxx> Objet : [mdt-papyrus.dev] Neon Feature Development: Editor Welcome Page I have started this week on development of a new feature for the Neon release: a Welcome Page [1] for the editor. The initial requirements and visual design sketch are on the wiki [1] and development is tracked under enhancement 469188 [2], which also collects some other related bugs and enhancements. Development is proceeding on a branch: committers/cdamus/469188-editor-welcome on which builds [3] occur whenever changes are pushed (should be fairly frequently to start with). Builds are installable from the p2 repository in the Hudson job’s archive. Progress so far has ensured that the Papyrus Editor always shows something, at least the welcome page, which at this stage is just a blank placeholder, as demonstrated in a brief YouTube™ video [4]. I welcome any input of requirements, user stories, visual design ideas, etc. Probably the best place for that is in bugzilla, although perhaps the discussion page in the wiki works, too. The target for completion of this work is the middle of December 2015. |
