Re: [mdt-papyrus.dev] Filesystem case sensitivity and git
|
Christian, I think these files belongs to one of my last commit. They have been generated automatically when I have executed genmodel of diagram expansion. I do not use them specifically, they are automatically provided by the genmodel framework on the uml/ecore model. I look at it with Patrick Francois Francois De : mdt-papyrus.dev-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mdt-papyrus.dev-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx] De la part de Christian W. Damus Envoyé : mercredi 2 septembre 2015 18:01 À : Papyrus Project list Objet : [mdt-papyrus.dev] Filesystem case sensitivity and git Just a reminder for those who use case-sensitive filesystems (e.g., Linux, sometimes OS X) that git clones on case-insensitive filesystems get very upset when two files in a directory have the same name differing only in the case. The result is changes that appear unwanted in the local checkout and/or index that get in the way of switching branches, cherry-picking, rebasing, and other common activities. I just pushed commit 13360dc8e0dd8bfc8b8a2b63b1b50df83f5fa20e on master that fixes the names of two image files for which case-different duplicates were added in another commit earlier today: plugins/customization/org.eclipse.papyrus.infra.gmfdiag.expansion.editor/ ExpansionmodelModelFile.gif Please, whoever owns these files, check that this is the correct case form and that they still have to correct content and work in whatever UI requires them. |
