To clarify:

I've not made any progress on deciding how to migrate Eclipse OCL source code from Java 7 to Java 8 annotations.

A workaround for the Java 8 JVM bug is available (and in M1) so I have made progress on other areas and am successfully using Java 8 for my daily development.
