Re: [mdt-papyrus.dev] Gerrit Submitted, Merge Pending

Hi everyone,

There are a lot of different think that  happened to the stuck commit :

Case 1

For https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/45932/

It has been merged see 6379bc1cc60c6d7ece710255f2509abfd44bc60a

Case 2

https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/51224/

Bug 471642 - [Sysml 1.4] Add actor part to IBD Palette

Was not merged and the gerrit ui is broken

Case 3

https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/51414/

was not merged but the UI is working fine.

ð  I rebase it

I didn’t found any way to identify all the commit that were previously stuck.

Can everyone check their contribution ?

Since the gerrit UI is broken the easiest way is to use the bugs to track the link between gerrit contribution and commit.

Do not forget to manually report the patch to the stream (if required)

Also most of the contribution passed in merge conflict with the change of strategy, you can start to rebase you contributions once at a time J

Thanks,

Benoit

Hi Christian,

I just wanted to check what was going to happen

And list/investigate all the gerrit broken UI

For example

https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/51224/

https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/45932/

If possible refrain any commit for the next hour.

Because there are some problems in the git repository and/or Gerrit that need to be worked out?  Perhaps best to explain why we should hold off on commits.

And should we also hold off on posting new patch sets to existing Gerrit reviews that we aren’t (yet) in a ready to submit?

Cheers,

Christian
