Re: [mdt-papyrus.dev] Java 7?

Hi,
The "most common" Java versions in Eclipse are Java 6 for Eclipse 4.4/Luna, Java 7 for Eclipse 4.5/Mars, and probably Java 8 for Eclipse 4.6/Neon next year.
Papyrus itself will depend on Java 8 next year (In Neon), so that's not an issue for us

Hello everyone,
the KIELER team currently considers moving to Java 8, which would also eventually affect the new layout project (once the project proposal is accepted). Two questions:
1. Does the Papyrus team have any reservations regarding that move?
2. Is there anything official on the issue of which execution environment Eclipse projects may use? I wasn't able to find anything on that.
