[mdt-papyrus.dev] Modeling Assistants Filtering with Viewpoint Configura

Hi, Team,

Now that bug 463156 [1] is resolved, the Viewpoints Configuration model can be used to refine/constrain the modelling assistants that are presented in Papyrus diagrams, just as can be done for palette tools.

So, please take advantage of the new AssistantRule element in the viewpoint configuration model to ensure that only the assistants applicable/appropriate for your domain-specific diagrams are presented to the user.  And, if you find that the filtering doesn’t work as expected, please raise bugs.

Not meaning to name names, but I would imagine that this will be particularly useful to the UML-RT and SysML diagrams, being first-class profiles offered by Papyrus.  :-)
