[mdt-papyrus.dev] Vote for Committer status for Mickaël ADAM was started by Sebastien Gerard

modeling.mdt.papyrus Committers,
This automatically generated message signals that Sebastien Gerard has
nominated =?UTF-8?Q?Micka=C3=ABl?= ADAM as a Committer on the modeling.mdt.papyrus project.
The reason given is as follows:

He worked with Eclipse environment since my PhD. The topic was on the
automatic generation of simulation model. These models were connected in
real time to the control system, to use the simulation model as an
observer. To summarize, on a MDE context, he used EMF to model production
systems which are transform to a simulation model.
After this PhD, he joined the ALL4TEC company where he began to work on
Safety Architect, a tool based on Eclipse RCP. After that an opportunity to
work on the Papyrus project appeared. Since then, he is working on Eclipse
Papyrus for a year, on different tasks to resolve bugs or to add new
functionalities. As example of tasks, he did the integration of a rich text
editor on property view, for comments. He added the possibility to define
style sheets at the model level and he has also implemented the possibility
to choose the text alignment for external label.
He is now on the refactor of shapes from diagrams. He created a new shape
with compartments, which can be rounded. This work will allow a better
customization of shapes and add the possibility to use SVG on most of the
shapes.
