Hi all,

 

In the past, I’ve had good experiences with Google’s WindowTester Pro which Tristan mentions. However, its last update dating back to Helios is a problem.

I like SWTBot, given its flexibility to be used both as tool (recorder) and as an API; and the project seems to be very alive.

I agree it might be the preferred approach to graphical testing in Eclipse projects; this might change with RCPTT, but the project is still empty and might take some time to get to a usable stage.

 

I have started to develop some tests for the Papyrus control mode using SWTBot.

What tool did you finally use ?

At Atos we use window tester https://developers.google.com/java-dev-tools/download-wintester?csw=1

but I think SWT Bot would be recommended by Eclipse Foundation.

I want to add some ui tests to test some manipulation on IPapyrusFiles.
