Dear Papyrus
developers,
The release is coming soon and it is time to think
about how to let the users know about all that cool features you've
implemented. In order to help you with this
Bug 317587 – '[General] Papyrus shall provide documentation
' was created.
So, now org.eclipse.papyrus.doc plugin holds
only documentation to be shown to the user. Too specific documentation was
moved to /doc/DebelopperDocuments folder in SVN. For example, the Papyrus Code
templates file is now located here - http://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/modeling/org.eclipse.mdt.papyrus/trunk/doc/DevelopperDocuments/templates/Papyrus%20Code%20templates.xml
Initial documentation is available in Eclipse
Help>Help Contents>Papyrus Guide.
If you would like to contribute your own documentation
it should be done in plugins/developers/org.eclipse.papyrus.doc
plugin:
1) Put your tutorial under the /tutorials folder
2) Then register it in the table of contents (toc.xml)
file – the same way as it is done for, say, 'Palette Customization'
tutorial.
Also, an empty FAQ page was created (http://wiki.eclipse.org/Papyrus-FAQ)
. Feel free to put frequently asked questions (as well as answers) there.
Good luck!
Tanya.
