Re: [mdt-ocl.dev] Tests in Build

Hi Axel

Solid passing tests should be included, probably by extending ...ocl.examples.tests...AllExamplesTests, where the use of a hierarchical buildSuite protocol ensures that sub-suites acn be run from the GUI; not true for the main OCL tests; feel free to fix it. Adolfo may need to arbitrarily exclude suspect examples tests if they interfere with releng success.

Currently the Xtext texts are not included because they only became available at M7 time when Xtext, releases, the examples code, and Hudson stability were all problems and requiring 100% pass of flaky tests was untenable. They should pass when run manually.

(Just catching up on the other Bugzillas after taking a sympathetic virtual skiing break.)

    Regards

        Ed

Hi Adolfo,

I've read http://wiki.eclipse.org/MDT/OCL/Dev/Releng/Buckminster and saw how my commit triggered the build. The build runs the tests. Where can I find information about including the event manager tests in the build? Or shouldn't examples/ bundles be tested during the build?

Best,
