Re: [mdt-bpmn2.dev] More info about development

Hi Ishan,

the scope of the project is to create a BPMN2 metamodel in Java implemented with EMF. We also want to have a nice basic tree editor that comes pretty much for free thanks to the work pushed by EMF.

All work for a graphical editor beyond that is to take place on a separate project, hopefully the BPMN modeler would be the right place for it.

Now, the work on the model itself is far from being finished, but I must say we have quite some interest, and it sounds like patches pop up by themselves. If you'd like to get more involved, I would advise you to look at Bugzilla where we have a few action items opened.

If you have more questions on the subject, please don't hesitate to post them on the newsgroup!

Thanks,

Antoine

Hi,
I'm interested in the development of BPMN editor and therefore, I would like to know some details about its current activities. I checked out the source code from the repository and saw that the model has been completed. What is the progress of the editor? Can you tell me what features have been completed so far and things left to be completed? I would like to work on the feature that implements an executable process from a diagram. Any feedback is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
