[mddi-dev] MDDi meetings minutes (02/16)

Hello all,

You will find below the minutes from today's update meeting. Feel free to complete, correct and/or
provide feedback.

Attendees: Andrey, Miguel, Sébastien

Minutes:

1) Update on current development

- ModelBus

Xavier could not make the call but he sent a note to give an update. The ModelBus team is going to
implement the following features:

	- Modeling services parameters passed by reference
	- Support for file transmission
	- Authentication layer for modeling services (tentative)
	- Open ModelBus to integrate other technologies (e.g. Microsoft)

A new release is planned for late April.

Moreover, LIP6 is working on a ModelBus web interface (thin client), which should be available
within a month.

- Orchestration Tool

Andrey is having discussions with the Eclipse IP department. Andrey needs to answer pending
questions ASAP.

- MDAC

Miguel solved many issues raised during the migration to the new version of UML2. He is now
improving the implementation of the RAS profile.

2) Review of the action backlog

- Provide a build for the service registry (Tom) => Done
- Publish the service registry build and documentation (Sébastien) => TBD
- Complete the adapter web page (Sébastien/Prawee) => TBD
- Submit the OCL adapter code to Eclipse (Tom) => TBD
- Ask Andrey about the Objecteering adapter code (Sébastien) => Done

SOFTEAM does not think that contributing the Objecteering adapter code to Eclipse would make sense
given that it is bound to a very specific version of the tool and may not work properly with other
versions.

5) Next meeting

The next update meeting is scheduled Fri. March 23rdth at 11am CET.

6) Actions

- Publish the service registry build and documentation (Sébastien)
- Complete the adapter web page (Sébastien/Prawee)
- Submit the OCL adapter code to Eclipse (Tom)
- Provide answers to the Eclipse IP department (Andrey)

Thanks,

Sébastien
