How are we doing
for the Photon simultaneous release?

Have we/are we
going to contribute to RC1 which finishes May 25?

The builds currently
aren't completing due to:

I don't know the
reasons, as it did work once or twice - guesses: building against http://download.eclipse.org/releases/photon
not staging, using Tycho Maven version 0.26 (1.1 available).

The update site
is built however.

I have put in
a few fixes since the 11 May build:
For Acquire Heap
dump 
- missing details
from Java 9 processes 
[534409] Failure
running collections test under Java 9
- added support
for lots more collections with tests

Also Krum added:
[534578] Build
MAT 1.8 against Photon
- set the default
target to mat-photon
- update minimum
required Java version to 1.8
- restrict the
list of supported platforms (target configuration) to the
ones supported
by the Photon
- update the pre-filled
update side in the product to photon


Kevin Grigorenko
has tested the latest version: 'the RCP from Eclipse Oxygen from git master
(pulled today), running on IBM Java 8.0.5.10 x64 on Linux RHEL 7.4.' with
good results.
