@Pascal you do realize IoT is an acronym?

 

Lots of people that I have upmost respect have suggestion to drop ‘Open’. I am certainly fine with Eclipse IoT. On Tuesday, maybe we can finalize on a final name.

I too was thinking that Eclipse already implies Open, so Open is superfluous.
