[m2m-iwg] IoT Consortium

Hi,

Have any of you heard about the Internet of Things Consortium?

So far neither Eclipse Foundation as a whole nor driving IWG Member companies seem represented:
http://iofthings.org/members

In fact it mostly looks dominated by HW and device makers, not too many software or developer groups and companies.
Any reasons? There seems to be no aim for individual members in this consortium, which is why I'm wondering, what keeps some of the corporate members here from joining such M2M and IoT related body?

Bonjour,
