Re: [m2m-iwg] Demonstrator of Eclipse M2M technologies

Rick/Thomas/all,

+1 that's more or less along the lines of what I just mentioned (sorry for the subject, didn't change it previously)

Metadata for sensors must also contain unit systems being used, even if the measurement system was not UCUM but something else like ISO or simple SI.

Glad to hear eTrice is still alive, while many other MDT stuff seems to suffer from a shift in focus by many team members to that Polarsys initiative. E.g. Doc2Model which seems to have just been terminatedw hile we heard from its former lead only when some Polarsys event in Toulouse was announced. If eTrice is doing better (at least commit statistics suggest) I'd be happy to hear more about Thomas' Paho approach.

These are exactly the shortcomings that need to be addressed!

Discovery and metadata are essential capabilities.

Hi all,
I would like to use the MQTT Sandbox Server (m2m.eclipse.org<http://m2m.eclipse.org>) for some M2M demos using the Paho implementations in C and Java wrapped inside eTrice components.
Publish and subscribe works well with my applications, but is there a simple way to browse the published information in a web page?
This would be nice for demonstrations. I imagine something like a filtered tree. I tried the HTTP Bridge at http://m2m-eclipse.cloudfoundry.com, but I got a 404 error.

Any ideas?
