[m2m-iwg] Electronic direct democracy in Germany using Lua

Hi,

I guess some of you may have heard about that, at lest those working with Lua full-time. Following the process and discussion around @Bundesgit, the initiative by German lawmakers to put all relevant legal documents into GitHub, I came across this project the Pirate Party uses in the German Parliament for their votes and to allow a transparent insight by citizens into the voting process, too:

The version control system is Mercurial, not Git, but you'll notice, almost the entire system is written in Lua!

Maybe something the M2M IWG or even Eclipse Foundation as a whole might check out and may consider for certain decision making processes?

Werner
