Scott,

Perhaps you could post a PDF of the analyst presentation that you did for the Paho announce? I think that might assist Bosch's understanding of the strategy.

Welcome to the IWG discussion Stefan!  Certainly, your participation in a monitoring role will be a valuable contribution and we look forward to your participation.

The scope of the M2M working group is intended to cover all the layers, as needed to accelerate market grow and openness.   Two initial related projects have been set up in Eclipse. We expect the IWG to influence those projects and promote other projects,  as we identify and prioritize market and technology needs.  This is still at the very early stage and input from Bosch is of great interest.

Regarding the layers, the Koneki project is focused on the M2M Gateway or Edge. The Paho project is focused on the interface and corresponding platform support between the edge/gateway and the monitoring server.

I hope this helps get the discussion going. I look forward to your input on the market, opportunity, technical needs, and the IWG overall.

Hello,

we have the interest to understand the Eclipse M2M activities, as Bosch is preparing for the Internet of Things and Services.

Right now we would like to understand on which „layer“ the M2M group will work. Therefore, we rather start learning about your approach. This will put us rather in a monitoring role and less in an active role --- if this OK with you.

Best regards,
Stefan
