Re: [m2e-wtp-dev] Question about org.sonatype.m2e.mavenarchiver.feature

OK Thanks -

I'm glad it already has an approved CQ - I'm not positive, but each time we would pick up a new version of the mavenarchiver we might need to update the CQ or get another?
This is just one reason it could be easier to bring over.

Hi Chuck,

as stated in  https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=6501#c9  there are no plans on bringing  mavenarchiver to eclipse.org for the moment.
Note that Sonatype is not opposed to, if we really want it.

My plan is to make it available via a p2 composite update site, pointing at Sonatype's repo.

I'm open to discussion, if you think this can be a problem.

Regards,

Fred Bricon

Hi

I can't remember if we covered this previously, but what are the plans for including this non-eclipse "extras" feature?  bring in as 3rd party library?  maybe using Orbit?

Is m2e planning on hosting / contributing at eclipse?

Thanks - Chuck
