Re: [m2e-wtp-dev] Incubation branding and parallel IP

I've marked the project as conforming. You can now take full advantage of parallel IP.

You must wait until the IP team gives you explicit clearance before you upload anything to the project repository.

Wayne,

Now that I can finally dedicate more time on m2e-wtp, I've put a minimalistic website up at http://www.eclipse.org/m2e-wtp/ (including the Incubation branding).
Can we consider we're now falling under the parallel IP rules, so I can upload the initial m2e-wtp contribution to the git repo, or do we need some blessing from the IP team (not sure how far you can interpret "cursory scan")?

Greetings m2e-wtp developers.

The Parallel IP process will help you get code into your repository faster. With parallel IP, you can get check-in after only a cursory scan by the IP team of your contributions. This lets you get started with something in your code repository while the full due diligence process occurs in parallel.

To take advantage of parallel IP, you need to have incubation branding on your project website. There's more information here:

http://wiki.eclipse.org/Development_Resources/HOWTO/Conforming_Incubation_Branding

The quick and easy way to make this happen is to just adopt the generated project page for your project. This page is generated using information from the project metadata specified via the developer portal:

Let me (or your mentors) know if you have any questions.

Wayne
