I believe (Fred bricon might be able to confirm) that it has to do with the sequencing of the build in eclipse.  I suspect that unlike command line builds that eclipse builds things a lot more in parallel.

However I may be mistaken.  This is just thinking out loud.

Well the intersting point is that it works perfectly from commandline
(on my machine and gitlab ci as well)
