Re: [m2e-users] Cannot install m2e, update page ist offline or moved?

Even if the given url says 404 in a browser, it is still the root url of an update site. Only way to be sure is to add it in the install new software wizard. Or to know exactly the structure of an update site.
This is common for eclipse update site, the 404 page even says that it could be an update site.

You need to use that url in eclipse "install new software" wizard. It does not render well in a browser.
