Re: [m2e-users] Is there a way to suppress the "M2E plugin execution not covered" error

It is not possible to modify the settings.xml to solve the problem.

In m2e 1.2, there's one more quick fix for this issue which simply adds a lifecycle mapping file in your workspace. As a result, developers do not have to modify their pom.xml

Thanks,
Chandler

Subject: [m2e-users] Is there a way to suppress the "M2E plugin execution not covered" error

Hi,

Basically we wonder if there's a way to suppress the 'M2E plugin execution not covered' error in pom.xml. For unknown maven plugins to m2e, we want to skip them by default without modifying pom.xml. We want to provide a flag so that user can choose to show this error or not.

Thanks,
Chandler
