Re: [m2e-users] Any news about the m2e egit handler for Juno?

EGit 2.0.0.201206130900-r is installed (Plug-in Id org.eclipse.egit.core)as
viewed via Help->About Eclipse, Selected the EGit icon and viewing the Plug-in
Details for Git Team Provider.

M2E 1.1.0.20120530-0009 is installed with Plug-in Details for SCM Maven
Integration feature at  1.1.0.20120530-0009, org.eclipse.m2e.scm.

In Eclipse using File->Import and choosing Maven->Check out Maven Project from
SCM no SCM type selections are available (expecting git).  Selecting "m2e
Marketplace" from the "Find more SCM connectors in the m2e marketplace" link in
the "Checkout as maven project from SCM" dialog yields the m2e marketplace
dialog showing "Install m2e connectors" with several "Lifecycle Mappings" and
one "m2e Team providers", which is m2e-egit "Maven SCM Handler for EGit" by
Sonatype, Inc., EPL.  Selecting that item and clicking Finish begins the
install? process which results in a "Problem Occured" dialog with a "Details>>"
button which brings up the dialog with says

""""""""""""""""""""""""
Operation details
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: Maven SCM Handler for EGit 0.14.0.201110251725
(org.sonatype.m2e.egit.feature.feature.group 0.14.0.201110251725
Missing requirement: Maven SCM Handler for EGit 0.14.0.201110251725
(org.sonatype.m2e.egit 0.14.0.201110251725) requires 'bundle
org.eclipse.egit.core [1.0.0,2.0.0)' but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: Maven SCM Handler for EGit 0.14.0.201110251725
(org.sonatype.m2e.egit.feature.feature.group 0.14.0.201110251725)
To: org.sonatype.m2e.egit [0.14.0.201110251725]
""""""""""""""""""""""""""

The bundle notice for the org.eclipse.egit.core shows version "[1.0.0,2.0.0)"
which seems a bit odd. It begins with a bracket and ends with a paren and
contains two versions separated by a comma.

thank you for your help
