[m2e-users] Eclipse builds again and again and again

Hello m2e Community,

 

I have a strange problem with m2e.

 

Since I enabled the Maven Nature of a project (“Convert to Maven project” in Eclipse), the IDE builds my project again and again and again and again (and, as side effect, validates all dependent projects again and again and again and again).

 

This eats up lots of CPU power, so actually editing now is nearly impossible.

 

Any ideas how to stop this?

 

I already tried to restart Eclipse, but the problem still occurs. It seems, m2e detects something that it interprets as a change, but as I do not even touch the mouse or keyboard, I cannot see what.
