Re: [m2e-users] Documentation on RAD and M2E

Thanks for the links.
I updated https://github.com/sonatype/m2eclipse-wtp/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions and added https://github.com/sonatype/m2eclipse-wtp/wiki/How-to-use-M2E-in-IBM-RAD

No doubt Chuck will update the docs with regards to the latest improvements added to m2e-wtp (application clientd and web fragments are supported) ;-p

Regards,

Fred Bricon

Wha-Hoo - Way to go IBM :-)

I spent a lot of time last year trying to get Maven & M2E to coexist with RAD and Jazz and it was painful. Ultimately I had to flatten all my Maven projects to make it work.

I complained a lot on the IBM Jazz forums about this, and to their credit the IBM folks were extremely sympathetic and eager to try and understand the issues and find solutions.

I really enjoyed working in the RAD and Jazz development environment - I only wish their environment is not so expensive - but for open source developers it is actually free (I think).

Cheers, Eric

Hi all,

For everyone using M2E on IBM's RAD (Rational Application Developer) these links might be interesting. They are perhaps not the answer to all of your questions, but at least they show that IBM is aware of the existence of M2E:
