Re: [m2e-users] Eclipse 3.7 Indigo, m2e 1.0 and m2e for wtp

Oh sorry, Fred, I didn't realize you had nothing to do
with the Eclipse project. I'll start a new thread about the "finding
plugins" issue.
Best regards
Mike

There's
an updated post about m2e-wtp's availability : http://community.jboss.org/en/tools/blog/2011/08/01/m2eclipse-wtp-0131-back-to-the-m2e-marketplace
To
sum up, you can install m2e-wtp either via :
- the m2e marketplace
- the
Eclipse marketplace : http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/maven-integration-eclipse-wtp
-
the p2 update site : http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/m2eclipse-wtp/
I
think I can probably repeat these informations on the JIRA homepage, a readme
on the github repo, add a github homepage, wiki,
but the key point
here is m2e-wtp is not an eclipse project and thus has nothing to do with
http://www.eclipse.org/m2e/download/
Well,
someone from Sonatype can decide to mention it (and all the other 3rd party
plugins) on the eclipse site,
but I don't have the rights to do it anyway,
so it's not my call.
Anyway if you have other ideas to improve
m2e-wtp's visibility (want to contribute to it's documentation? https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/MECLIPSEWTP-154)
I'm open to suggestions.

Hi
Fred,
I think I
probably went through the same confusion as Krystian and others about the
location of m2e-extras/wtp. I think it'd be great
if you could put your below message f ex on
to aid anyone else
looking for the plugins in the "old" place.
Best
regards
Mike
