Re: [m2e-users] where is maven embedded 3.0.3 gone?

Yeah, no worries, same here...

As it happens I was mislead by a fellow colleague. He did install embedded maven runtime 3.0.3 hence why it did not show up in the m2e market place. However his embedded runtime still showed as 3.0.2

I checked what is installed and found the embedded 3.0.3 and uninstalled it. I then went to m2e market place and installed embedded 3.0.3 again. However after installing and re-starting eclipse it still shows as embedded 3.0.2

We are trying again but with a fresh install of helios SR2

Thanks for reply, however...

...you must have mis-read my post. I did say "on a new install of helios" so the 3.0.3 embedded runtime has not been installed at this point.

Also I have no Help > Installation Details > Installed softwares   section

...but I did say when I go to

help -> eclipse market place -> Installed tab

..I get an error.

If it's the same installation and you previously installed 3.0.3, it shouldn't appear in the marketplace anymore.
At least that's what I noticed with m2e-wtp. Have you looked Help > Installation Details > Installed softwares?

How do I install maven embedded 3.0.3 in helios?

I have done this previously but cannot now on a new install of helios?

If I go to window -> preferences -> maven -> discovery -> open catalog

(The URL is http://download.eclipse.org/technology/m2e/discovery/directory.xml)

...I do not see it ?

Also on my installation of helios where I did previously install embedded 3.0.3 if I go to

help -> eclipse market place -> Installed tab

...I get error

"Query failed to complete
    MarketplaceDiscoveryStrategy failed with an error
    Node not found"

Something amiss here. Any ideas?
