thanks a lot for your answer! It is very much appreciated.

I will try to look further based on the hints you gave me. As my
questions are based on a larger project I have "inherited", it may be
difficult to provide a minimal example reproducing the problems.

Do you plan to release 0.14.0 in the near future?
