[m2e-dev] backspace at pom file hangs eclipse

Hello

I wonder if anyone experiencing eclipse (21-12) hanging when trying to edit maven pom then hit backspace

However, I don't see this issue at the equivalent STS4

no issue editing other file types

advice is greatly appreciated
