Re: [location-iwg] Important: Top Level Project charter

Hi Guys,

Great to see work going on here with respect to spatial data systems.

If it's any help at all here was the charter that we used in the Apache SIS project,
started at the Apache Software Foundation in 2010:

http://wiki.apache.org/incubator/SpatialProposal

Some of the Apache stuff won't apply but it will give you some idea of the type
of scope/etc. that you guys may want to deal with, or complement.

Good luck!

Cheers,
Chris

Closely related with this top level project is a project management committee (PMC) which helps guide projects under this TLP.

Missing this deadline means we wait 1 month for the next board meeting which we'd like to avoid. Please send any feedback by 8pm EDT on Tuesday September 11th.
