Message sent from mobile device on vacation caveats aside, I'll add in my praise for Cesium. 

Of all the browser-based, open source, 3D globe clients, Cesium shows the most promise. 

While I can't speak for the potential to grow a boarder developer community, AGI clearly have the engineering talent to develop a highly functional globe client.  If they can engage others in Cesium development, they'll have a sustainable project.

Personally, I'm excited about the potential for an OpenLayers adapter for Cesium (or, in the future, a Cesium renderer for OpenLayers).  On its own, Cesium has a ton of value.  Paired with OL, Cesium deals in all standard/common protocols and formats and provides a virtual globe.

I look forward to hearing how the presentation goes.
