Re: [linuxtools-dev] Moving some Linux Tools features to a different category in update site

I don't speak for the whole group, but as the releng person, I'm fine with moving them for the up-coming M4.
It was mentioned on the list, we should try it out and see whether people like it or don't like it. I can't
imagine people having issue with it as it clarifies functionality and they can always search by feature name.

Ping! The new category was created. I would still need your approval/opinion on moving the mentioned Linux Tools features to this new feature.

Thank you!

Subject: [linuxtools-dev] Moving some Linux Tools features to a different category in update site

Hello,

We would like to propose a new category for the simultaneous release update site called "Performance, Profiling and Tracing Tools". We think some features from Linux Tools could be moved to this category:
-GProf Integration
-OProfile Integration
-Perf Integration
-SystemTap IDE and Visualization Tools
-Valgrind Tools Integration

Please let us know if you agree or disagree on this bug:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=451241

Regards,
Marc-André Laperle
