Hmm, before the Indigo release I went through all of the perspectives
and verified there were no NPEs. I guess I missed one, sorry. Please
file a bug:

SystemTap itself is quite actively maintained [0]. The Eclipse plugins
are not the most active parts of Linux Tools but they are maintained by
Anithra from IBM. There isn't a tonne of updated documentation on its
usage. There's an open bug requesting documentation for how
non-committers can test it out [1]. Corey Ashford from IBM has recently
been updating the documentation to clean up the HTML and make it conform
with the rest of Eclipse's help formatting [2]. The help docs as they
stand are available as part of the Indigo help centre:

http://help.eclipse.org/indigo/topic/org.eclipse.linuxtools.systemtap.ui.doc/Linux_Tools_Project/SystemTap/User_Guide/gettingstarted/gettingStarted.html

I'm sure Anithra and others would be interested in help. There are a
number of open bugs:

HTH,

Andrew
