[libra-dev] Few things about Libra ramp down to Juno and more

Dear Libras,

As the countdown to Juno is started we need to do some little things about this. Please spend some minutes to read below and take action if required.

1.       Juno RC1. Tomorrow I will release Libra 0.2 RC1 that will take part in the RC1 milestone of the Juno release train. If you still plan to include anything in RC1, then please let me know ASAP.

2.       Juno Ramp Down process.

a.       We should not include any new features for Juno. If there are exception, they need to be approved and documented. If you plan any new features or enhancements for Juno, then please open a ticket for Bugzilla and link them to this wiki [1]. Each exception requires approval by the WTP PMC [2].

b.      All bug fixes also requires approval by the project lead (this is me) and the PMC. Take a look at this schedule [3].

3.       Juno project plan [4]. It is time to have a final look at our project plan for Juno and clean it up. I see there a still some items targeted to 0.2 M7 or proposed for Juno. Please, take a look and retarget them either to 0.3 (Kepler) or “Future”.

4.       We have couple of bugs with patches attached that are not targeted to any milestone [5]. Can these be reviewed, targeted to a milestone or closed?

5.       If anyone wants to develop new features for Kepler right away, we can branch the Juno stream into a new branch, so master can be available for new development. If this is the case, then please let me know.

Thanks for the attention.

Greetings,

Kaloyan
