Hi Florian,

shame on me, I didn’t think of the Simulator. You’re right, it wouldn’t hurt to request this contribution as early as possible since it will be included in JWT at some time anyway. Also, the integration of a new feature which was described in the JWT proposal would probably give us the option of performing a graduation release (if we want to).

Regards,

Chris

Hi guys,

I’ve been working on the conversion of the AgilPro Simulator to the JWT Desktop component for quite some time. It is not in a state for submitting it to the codebase yet, but if we want to include it in JWT 1.0 then we’ll definitely need a CQ, because some parts of the code have been written not by myself, but of colleagues (Wolf Fischer) from the University of Augsburg or even from colleagues of the company eMundo.

The Desktop component will quite simplified in comparison to the AgilPro Simulator and won’t allow for external adapters in the first place. I’ve changed the code that it simply allows to select a JAR-archive, a class and a method that shall be executed and thats it.

I’m not sure whether we should include that into Helios or only afterwards, but we might create a CQ with the keyword Helios nevertheless, just to make sure that it is included in the next release (if this is something for the next release!?).

Best regards,

Florian

Hi guys,

I don’t think we’ll going to have any CQs for Helios, so just FYI

It's that time again. In order to plan for the upcoming Helios Release we are asking all participating projects to:

    * enter a contribution questionnaire for all third party packages
that you wish to include in your release prior to *February 5,
2010 (end of helios M5)*; and
    * enter a comment on any CQ/ IPZilla bug that you need for the
simultaneous release indicating that the package is needed for
      Helios.

We will annotate all the relevant CQs/ IPBugs with the keyword "helios" and use that list to plan our reviews for the next six months. Your project’s participation in this activity is critical for your successful inclusion on the train: packages submitted by participating projects prior to the *February 5, 2010* deadline will be given priority over all other submissions during scheduling.

Thanks!

Janet
