Re: AW: [jwt-dev] Talk at Eclipse Forum Europe 2009

Well that suits me ^^

Anyway, it's "your" presentation, so you can put "your" stuff in it also, like semantics if it's what you're on right now...

Marc

Hi,

@Marc
I don't know if this really captures what you meant but I gave it a quick
try ;)

The aim of the project Java Workflow Tooling (JWT) is to develop a business
process toolset that not only allows to model processes but also to execute
them on existing process and workflow engines.
JWT offers users an adaptable and extendable set of Eclipse based tools for
code generation (e.g. XPDL- or WSBPEL-code, but also HTML documentation),
deployment, execution and the monitoring of business processes.
Fitted with a flexible mechanism that allows to customize the underlying EMF
core model and the support for task-oriented views, vendors can build tools
suited for their domain.

Hi Florian

That's good news !

The existing abstract is good, if a bit generic.

Maybe you could talk about JWT 0.6 "vendors" ? This way Bull's
developments and release as well as views and aspects would be all in
the light.

0.7 "SOA" should also be ready at the very end of April since I'll try
to do a Scarbo-centered presentation at the OW2 Conference, but I'm not
sure yet how it would do on the JWT-only side, though in this context
STP-IM would be a nice topic to mention.

Marc

Hi all,

it seems that we will also have another talk (probably 60 minutes)
for
presenting JWT in the near future: I submitted a very short abstract
to the
Eclipse Forum Europe which will happen in April in Mainz, Germany,
and the
program chair said that they would be very interested in such a talk.
But I
shall submit the abstract in English and have the talk in English,
too. He
also asks us whether we would be interested in writing an article for
the
Eclipse Magazin (which we surely are!).

This time I would like to ask for your opinions concerning the
abstract for
this presentation. In the press part of our wiki, there is now a link
to the
page http://wiki.eclipse.org/JWT_EclipseForum2009, where I uploaded
some
more information about the conference as well as a draft of the title
and
abstract in English.

I would be glad if you could have a look at it till the end of the
week, so
I can upload this new abstract to the conference web site again (the
abstract can also be a little bit longer, but mustn't be too long).

Thanks and best regards,

Florian

Hallo Herr Lautenbacher,

vielen Dank für Ihren Vorschlag fürs Eclipse Forum Europe. Wir sind
an der
Session interessiert.

Ansatz in
einem Artikel im Eclipse Magazin darstellen.

Was halten Sie davon?

Gruß! S. Meyen
