[jnosql-dev] FW: [JNOSQL/artemis] Move to Eclipse (#21)

Wayne/all,

What is the Status here? Are there official Eclipse Projects that may stay away from org.eclipse package Namespace and never move at least some repositories under  https://github.com/eclipse ???

We know, at least Vert.x kept a different package Name, MicroProfile however switched it and only Shares the license Header or license with the likes of Vert.x.

What about this Project? Not enough maturity and common ground of non-relational DB Systems was among reasons I heard, why e.g. Apache did not feel this Technology or Project were ready to enter even ist incubator.

Demonstrating effort similar to what Hibernate already did before JPA or via http://hibernate.org/ogm/ also in the NoSQL field is what I’d hoped this Project could do at Eclipse.

Otavio mentioned, there were still a lot of IP issues. When (I understand the annual release Train might come first) do you expect those could be resolved? The longer it takes, the less relevant this Project seems compared to especially Hibernate OGM.

Cheers,

Werner
