Chris suggested that I convert my blog post onto the Eclipse EGit wiki:

What's the policy between the EGit and JGit wiki documentation? Are we going to provide it only under EGit, or are we going to have two seperare ones? If so, which would this fall under?

Apparently we don't have a wiki for JGit, so I propose to use the
EGit wiki http://wiki.eclipse.org/EGit to keep it simple.

There might be benefit in having a JGit wiki, to record things like how JGit works, what its known issues are with relation to CGit, how to embed it in different tools like Maven and NetBeans. We can, of course, link between the two, but since we've got separate projects/mailing lists/download areas, I think an extra JGit page/wiki is probably useful?
