I've added the feature request:

If I had more spare time I'd have a go at implementing it, but the
universe is deciding to stop me having any at the moment and that's
unlikely to change in the short term. 
(So if anyone else wants to have a go at it, feel free - I'll comment
on the GitHub issue if/when anything changes.)
