Re: [jetty-users] maxIdleTime has to pass before request is being handled

Interesting side effect of Blocking connectors you have discovered.
We will likely not be fixing this, as Jetty 9.x is our current live development tree, and we've dropped all of the blocking connectors from it anyway.

And the problem seems to disappear - with the above connector-config I consistently get 2 secs response-time.

It is just that Solr seems to recommend
org.eclipse.jetty.server.bio.SocketConnector
