[jetty-users] How to write an extended rewrite rule?

Title: How to write an extended rewrite rule?

Hello everyone,

In my environment I have a Jetty server, which shall deal with requests using a specific
pattern. In general I can use the
RedirectPatternRule.
But I want to use the data matching the pattern to check
with an external API if the
resource is available. Based on that result I want to create different redirects.

What is the recommended way to achieve anything like that?

Best Regards,

Christian Schulz
