Re: [jetty-users] Jetty 9.0.0 RC1 not starting

Just an update, a staged build of RC2 is currently being tested...

http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/jetty-dev/msg01671.html

NOTE: This is a staged, _not_yet_official_ build of RC2.

We are rolling RC2 today (notice that we didn't really announce RC1)

Hey,

strange thing nobody noticed before, but I am facing the same problems under Windows 8 x64, starting via well-known ‘java -jar start.jar’. Same with the zip distribution file.

Either we’re doing something wrong or the distribution file is really broken.

Andreas

How come the out of the box TAR GZ doesn't work? Did I do something terribly wrong?
