Re: [jetty-dev] Websocket api 1.1

Hi.
Sorry for my previous mail. I've missed che-dev@xxxxxxxxxxx with jetty-dev.
Joakim can you elaborate about state of this issue?
Is this issue depend on other issue? Are there any plans on it? How can I help to speed up this issue?

Eventually I would like to run https://www.eclipse.org/che/ with Jetty and this issue looks like the major one.

Thanks

Hi

Status updates.
Main development is over.
Che is starting on Tomcat 8 on Linux. For Windows we are missing a couple of tomcat startup scripts. Soon it will be done.
We have pretty close results of QA test to master.
But since we saw some periodic problem without of known reason (we assume that was some infrastructure issues) we decided to merge tomcat 8 + websocket 1.1 support in master only in 3.11 version.

Just opened an issue for it

Currently chasing a bunch of permessage-deflate and permessage-compress bugs we have since the -21 draft spec release.
Once that settles out, we'll tackle the websocket 1.1 api next.
