i committed some updates to the jetty-parent artifact that let us
import into indigo cleanly (at least the eclipse side, codehaus side
should be easy to fix if there is anything not covered there).

the crux of the issue is described here:

what it means in the long run is that some of the plugins will not be
fired off by m2eclipse so if your having issues running some of our
test cases in eclipse (which has been somewhat hit or miss anyway,
largely because of this issue in the first place) be aware of this..

the build (and tests) should always work on the command line :)
