A committer election for Thomas Mäder on project Eclipse JDT™ (Java
development tools) (eclipse.jdt) was started by Jeff Johnston with this
criteria:
I would like to nominate Thomas Mader to be a committer on Eclipse JDT™
(Java development tools).
Thomas Mader has worked on Eclipse over a decade ago and recently has joined
the Red Hat Eclipse team to work on Eclipse JDT™ (Java development tools).
He has quickly made an impact on the project, addressing the following bugs:

Thomas also has fixed 64 additional JDT bugs from 2003-2004 plus made
numerous patches to other areas of Eclipse such as Eclipse Platform.
With his extensive experience Thomas will prove a valuable committer and make
many more important contributions to JDT.
