Re: [jdt-dev] Official Feature Patch Update Site

> Thanks to David

And I in turn would like to thank Kris De Volder for doing the earlier builds, for the JDT Team (and thanks to Pivotal Software for supporting him in the effort). I do not know the whole history, but know he's been doing them for at least several months ... if not a year or more?

Not only were his builds directly helpful to the JDT team, but I learned a lot by looking at his example and could more easily see how to adopt some of the Tycho concepts into the framework of our current production builds.

The ability to learn and build on the work of others is why I love open source development!

Much thanks to him for doing the work and then sharing his work. I was about to give up and go back to PDE, until I saw how he did it, so there is no doubt he has made the current builds possible!

Thanks to David, we now build and host the feature patch update site [1] for our Eclipse Java 8 Support (BETA) on Eclipse infrastructure. I've updated the wiki page accordingly.

Enjoy!
