[jdt-dev] Implement java source attachment URL

Hi
I would like to add functionality for "java source attachment" so that 
the location path also could be a URL and not only a local folder.
Is this possible or must the source code be stored locally to work with 
the eclipse.
In that case could this functionality store the source  files 
temporarily if you enter a URL path.
